Scott D. Lane is a founding partner of Lane & Lane, LLC. He is married and has two children.  Prior to his present practice, Mr. Lane was a Cook County Assistant State's Attorney for several years.  Currently, he is co-director of the Illinois State Bar Association Trial Technique Institute and an Adjunct Professor at the Loyola University of Chicago School of Law where he is a founding member of Loyola's Circle of Advocates and has coached their trial team.  He frequently lectures at bar association seminars and has authored numerous articles and chapters pertaining to various aspects of civil litigation.

Additionally, Mr. Lane is a contributing editor to "Lane's Goldstein Trial Technique" and "Lane Medical Litigation Guide," and co-authored the book, "Illinois Motions in Limine."  In 2002, Mr. Lane was selected as one of the "40 Attorneys Under 40 in Illinois To Watch."  He has been selected as an "Illinois SuperLawyer" as published by Law & Politics and Chicago Magazine.
